oops - a summer hiatus

Eeek. I guess the blog took an unintentional summer hiatus. I went to show a friend some pictures today and realized I hadn't uploaded anything in over a month. I'm surprised I haven't started getting letters of complaint from my grandmother! :)

But just because I haven't posted doesn't mean we haven't been busy.
Alice and I took a trip trip to Florida with Granne to see my grandparents. Pictures of that trip are in the JULY album.

With Grandma Mae and Grandpa Zip. (Alice says to Grandma Mae, "I'm Alice Mae too!" You could tell she thought it was just the most amazing coincidence.)

Other than that trip, we've been sticking close to home, enjoying our last weeks in Baltimore. Pictures are in the AUGUST gallery. Alice has recently learned about the idea of playing "dressups" and has been coming up with some interesting outfits! This is what she put on for our family movie night (to watch the princess and the frog).

But of course, no matter how many toys a kid has, nothing seems to beat a few big boxes and a box of crayons.
